The Opportunity:

We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Procurement & Fleet Officer to join our Procurement and Logistics team in Hastings, Hawke's Bay.

This is a varied and practical support role, providing procurement and fleet operational support to the Unison Group, ensuring accurate purchasing processes, supplier coordination, fleet compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate procurement activities across the Unison Group, including monitoring delivery of products and services.
  • Maintain complete and accurate purchasing records, including updating Master Data.
  • Support the Group Procurement & Logistics Manager with supplier sourcing, selection, and contract negotiation processes
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, contractors or service providers to resolve purchasing, delivery, materials, invoice or service queries.
  • Schedule and coordinate vehicle servicing, preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections
  • Work closely with the Fleet Manager to ensure the fleet remains compliant with Unison and NZTA requirements.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Fleet, Warehouse or similar operational support role
  • Supply Chain experience in Purchasing, Procurement and Contract Negotiation processes.
  • A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • A full, clean NZ drivers licence
  • A diploma in purchasing and supply is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience using Technology One and competency using Eroad is a plus.
