We are currently looking for a Designer to join our team in Hastings. This is a permanent full-time role with guaranteed fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive environment.

What you'll do:

  • Perform planning and design of projects for reliability, security and quality of supply

  • Prepare technical specifications for contract works, including pricing

  • Liaise with Supervisors/Planners

  • Adhere to compliance with health & safety, technical, environmental and regulatory requirements

  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships with internal and external customers

  • Ensure work meets quality and price criteria

This is a great opportunity if you have:

  • An appropriate qualification from the Electrical or telecommunication industry.

  • Electrical Distribution or Electrical Design experience (minimum 3 years)

  • Knowledge of relevant acts, regulations and codes of practice

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to problem solve and offer solutions

  • A solid understanding around design & construction standards.

  • Team focus with the ability to work independently as required
