We are looking for an Inspector to join our team in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who consistently delivers work to a high standard and brings a practical, hands-on approach to work.

What you'll do:

• Conduct scheduled in-field condition assessments of electrical assets
• Report condition details of the assets via a paper based scoping sheet or using portable electronic device and computer systems
• Make recommendations for maintenance or replacement requirements of the assets
• Report urgent defects and hazards to the asset management staff
• Ensure that inspection cycle schedules are met.

This is a great opportunity if you have:

• An electrical Registration with NZ EWRB and a current NZ Drivers Licence
• Knowledge of relevant acts, regulations, and codes of practice
• Line Mechanic experience with overhead lines experience (preferred) OR other electrical experience such as electrical engineering/electrician (desired).
