As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our depot in Hastings.

About the role
As the Operations Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the day to day leadership and performance of our Hawke's Bay operations.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing field leaders, crews and supervisors
- Owning health and safety performance and setting the standard across the depot
- Managing operational delivery across faults, maintenance and project works
- Planning and allocating labour, plant and resources effectively
- Managing budgets, costs and operational performance
- Responding to emergency situations when required
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement and keeping operations competitive
About you
You're a strong leader who knows how to get the best out of people while holding high standards. You're calm under pressure, solutions focused, and comfortable making decisions that keep people safe and work moving.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in an operations or people leadership role
- Solid background in electrical, contracting or a similar industry
- Strong health and safety knowledge and leadership capability
- Experience managing budgets and operational performance
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
- A practical, hands on leadership style that crews respect
What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business and/ or an Electrical qualification
- Extensive experience in a management or operations management role
- In depth experience in the electrical, contracting or related industry
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer outcomes
