As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Lines Field Leader to support and lead our field crews in Hastings.

What you'll do
As a Lines Field Leader, you will:
- Allocate staff, plant, and equipment to ensure work is effectively planned, scheduled, and visible to crews
- Lead and support designated staff to deliver safe and efficient field services in line with Unison standards
- Support Priority 1 work, including critical defects and fault response
- Carry out worksite observations and pre‑site walkovers
- Participate in project close‑outs and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Ensure project delivery meets required time, cost and quality standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Promote and uphold Unison's Health & Safety policies, quality standards, and company values
- Coach, guide and develop team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
This is a great opportunity if you have:
- An EWRB registered Line Mechanic
- Minimum 5 years' experience in power system construction
- 2-5 years' leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of relevant acts, regulations and industry codes of practice
- Well‑developed communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills
- A positive, team‑focused approach and commitment to upholding Unison's values
- The ability to lead by example, motivate others and build a high‑performing team culture
