We are looking for qualified Line Mechanics to join our team in Hastings. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship, enjoys teamwork, and brings a strong commitment to safety.

What you'll do:

  • Providing dedicated line construction services, installing new equipment and services to both overhead lines and underground cables.
  • Repair and restore fault damaged lines, cables and equipment.
  • Work with a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
  • Be fully focused on Health & Safety.
  • Complete documentation relevant to the performance of duties.

This is a great opportunity if you:

  • Are an EWRB registered Line Mechanic, with at least 2 years' experience.
  • Are a motivated, hardworking individual with a positive attitude.
  • Have Hot stick / G&B certified, although this is not a must.
  • Have a calm, steady approach and enjoy contributing to a supportive team environment
