We are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our Technical Services team in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who consistently delivers work to a high standard and brings a practical, hands-on approach to work.

What you'll be doing:

• Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and properties, including work in substations, to keep everything running smoothly and safely.
• Working independently at times, so you'll need to be confident managing your own workload and making decisions.
• Liaise with contractors, including obtaining quotes for repairs and scheduled work, and overseeing the completion of tasks.
• Identify and address safety hazards, adhering to all relevant safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation.

What you'll need:

• Ability to carry out handy work and maintain property to a high standard.
• Happy jumping in to help the team when needed but also trusted to get work done on your own.
• Experience using tools and performing basic repairs.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and read plans/instructions.
• Good communicator, team player, and organised.
