Arborist/Vegetation Controller

We are currently looking for looking for Arborists/Vegetation Controllers to join our busy Vegetation Team in Hastings.

This is a permanent full-time role with guaranteed fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive organisation.

Tasks include:

  • Removing vegetation from close proximity to power lines

  • Complete all arborist work tasks as directed

  • Proactively identify and report any vegetation that would be unsafe to leave until programmed for routine maintenance

  • Service and clean machinery and equipment

  • Traffic control as required

  • Completing paperwork and equipment return to enable job invoicing

  • Comply with the Company's health and safety requirements

To be successful in this position you need:

  • Full and clean drivers' licence (class 2 preferred)

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

  • Arborist or forestry experience

  • Level 3 Arboriculture (Level 4 is desirable)

  • A good level of fitness

  • Commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing

  • Experience working around electricity networks (desired)
