The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hastings-based team as a Senior Digital Technologies Group (DTG) Project Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week.
The primary responsibility of the Senior DTG Project Manager is to manage key projects within the annual DTG Program of Work. The Senior DTG Project Manager will be expected to manage projects from inception to completion, including managing internal resources, external vendors, project objectives and benefits, risks and issues, and business expectations. In addition, the Senior DTG Project Manager will be expected to prepare and present regular reporting to key stakeholders, including executive management.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead projects to ensure objectives, goals, commitments and agreed benefits are met and managed to agreed scope, timeframe, and budget.
- Develop, present and obtain approval of project plans, and monitor, track and report progress against key milestones.
- Integrate vendor delivery plans into project planning for a synchronized delivery.
- Develop and deliver project reporting to stakeholders and executive management.
- Ensure effective utilization of project resources and manage business change in coordination with business unit managers.
- Support the Chief Digital Officer and Projects & Solutions Manager to develop and report on the DTG Programme of Work.
What We Are Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years relevant project management experience is essential.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, or equivalent business project delivery experience.
- Project Management Certification such as Agile Scrum, PMI, or similar is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to translate complex technical requirements into common language.
- Ability to understand complex technical requirements, specifications, issues and challenges and translate these into common language.
