We are currently looking for an Asset Inspector to join our team in Rotorua. This is a permanent full-time role with guaranteed fortnightly pay in a stable and supportive environment.

What you'll do:

• Conduct scheduled in-field condition assessments of electrical assets

• Report condition details of the assets via a paper based scoping sheet or using portable electronic device and computer systems

• Make recommendations for maintenance or replacement requirements of the assets

• Report urgent defects and hazards to the asset management staff

• Ensure that inspection cycle schedules are met.

This is a great opportunity if you:

• Have an electrical Registration with NZ EWRB and a current NZ Drivers Licence

• Knowledge of relevant acts, regulations, and codes of practice

• Line Mechanic experience with overhead lines experience preferred OR other electrical experience such as electrical engineering, electrician is desired

Interview and Selection Process:

• A face to face interview, where we dive into your skills, experiences, and what you could add to the team.

• Successful applicants will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment (including drug and alcohol test) and physical assessment.
